The model PM-4 heavy-duty heat mat is designed to withstand the harsh greenhouse environment. Place your flats directly on this energy efficient, heavy rubber mat to get even bottom heat for starting seeds and cuttings. This mat is designed to be used with a Pro-Grow Control Thermostat for controlled heating (see our heavy-duty steel encased "Control Thermostats" - available to maintain from 40 to 100 degrees farenheit- sold separately - all Pro-Grow Control Thermostats have top and bottom screw mounts for convenient optional mounting). Mat warranty is void if not used with a Pro-Grow Control Thermostat.

These professional grade propagation mats are specially designed by Pro-Grow Supply's engineering team for excellent thermal heat transfer, even heating and germination on every flat, and durability year-after-year. Mats are made from special heavy duty, rugged long lasting rubber that will outlast flimsy plastic phthalate designs. Our special material, which is truly heavy-duty, is only made in the red color. Grower's tell us the durable material is great to work with. The material stays flat while in use, yet conveniently rolls up for storage.
NOTES: Monitor soil moisture so seeds do not dry out or are not saturated with water. Overwatering can lead to damping off.
